Music at Saint Laurence's
The Music Group aims to provide rich, varied and liturgically appropriate music for all the parish.
11am Mass
We practice for 11 am Mass in the church from 10.00 am on Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome − why not come along and give it a try?
The 11am group also leads the music for the major feasts of the Church's year.
If you would like further details please contact one of the group after the 11am Mass.
Sing? Lead? Teach?
Is the Holy Spirit calling you to apply your musical and teaching talents?
St Laurence’s Roman Catholic Church would like to hear from someone who is willing to volunteer to direct the choir and music group, primarily for the 11am Sunday Mass and major feast days.
You should be a practising Roman Catholic with experience of leading a choir and teaching new music; be a confident and proficient music reader who can act as a cantor when needed and be able to lead where the members of the group are also volunteers.
For a full description of the rôle, or for further information about music in the parish please contact:

Saturday 6pm Mass
This Mass has a more traditional musical feel: there is no regular practice or singing group, but all are very welcome to join in.
African Choir
Here at St Laurence's Parish, an African Choir is evolving and actively recruiting new members to support, represent the growing needs of the Parish, and to portray the diversity of the worldwide Catholic faith.
A personal invitation is yours for the taking. Come and join us sing 'in tongues' to the Glory of God.
